I've always said its not lack of investment (8th highest wage bill, 18th worldwide income) but total and 100% MISMANAGEMENT, club is run like circus/Market stall and how the fuck does the Fat Brady justify her salary?

tbf, that doesn't mean the numbers are made to look worse, it just serves to highlight their staggering incompetence, and total lack of direction or plan.

These numbers are made to look much worse.
These accounts include when we had high earners like
Hernandez 140k a week
Arnie 100 plus a week
Perez, Nasri, carroll etc.
Them players alone probably amounted to 20-25 million in wages. Hernandez 7.5 million on his own!
Once Reid, Sanchez and hopefully Wilshere are finally off I am sure next years figures will look alot better IF (which is a big if) we stay up.
Will we learn from our mistakes? Probably not.

Those numbers seem a bit off for salaries. For 2019 and 2018 our TOTAL wage bill (all staff, excluding pensions and social security) was £119 and £94 million respectively.
Double the figure in the list nearly. Can't imagine non playing staff earn that much combined.

That's what I thought, Rossal. Still, doesn't specify if this is players' wages only. I don't know: Sportrac does seem to have a decent rep, though. Just pointing out estimates available.

West Ham have posted financial losses of £28.2m, although Sullivan and Gold were paid a combined £2.9m in interest in August 2019 on their loans to the club. A further £1m was paid to GGI international, a company related to Gold, in respect of a partial repayment of loan capital. The highest-paid director at the club was the vice-chairman
Karren Brady, whose salary increased from £898,000 to £1.136m.
Sullivan attempted to justify West Ham’s losses by saying: "The board made a decision at the beginning of 2018 to embark on an investment programme that would involve bringing in a world class manager, investing in better players and making
significant investment in the club's infrastructure.

Matt Law was very king to SGB...could have been much worse stuff included to show their poor stewardship over the 10 years...
A history of ongoing poor transfers on the pitch...and little long term strategies and plans... poor infrastructure and almost no return from the famed Academy...

How many other British working class lads own smut businesses and an iconic footy club in one of the top cities on Earth? They are worth millions and millions and have complete control of their empire. Even if West Ham went bad they’d not be losers they’d be massive winners.
Even Sugar couldn’t do that.

West Ham are just one strand/flavour of Brand Premier League.
Or to put it another way, Premier League football is the money spinner here, not West Ham. If the flavour of West Ham is not strong enough, the Premier League will drop it from it's menu and replace it with another flavour; as it has done since it's inception.
It then beggars belief that the owners of West Ham - or ANY of Brand Premier League product would adopt a strategy that puts at risk that flavour's place on the PL menu; but that is exactly the strategy that the club's owners have followed.
That indicates, to me, at least, that it's not West Ham's future, or even survival, that is behind any of their thinking - if it was, they would never have allowed (even encouraged) the club to end up where it currently is.
And the speed at which our old home was disposed of then obliterated suggests that maybe the personal memories of at least one of the owners of the place are not as happy as we've been led to believe and he couldn't wait for "pay-back".
